In Russia, a program of phased development of the Moon

The plans of Russian scientists several unmanned space missions to the moon in order to build on it in future robotic base, said Tuesday the general designer — CEO Lavochkin Victor Hart.

"Now in the Federal (space) program of Russia have two missions to the Moon, one of them, along with India, the other — entirely Russian. Both are scheduled for 2013, with a possible "drift" one in 2014, "- said Hart opened at the International Exhibition in Hanover, digital and telecommunication technologies CeBIT 2011.

He said that it is a project "Luna-Glob" and "Luna-Resource", involving flying robotic missions to the polar region of the Moon, which were recently discovered reserves of water in the form of ice.
