In the Russian GLONASS started selling smartphones

The mobile operator MTS has started selling the smartphone with support for domestic satellite positioning system GLONASS. The device is sold under its own brand operator. Smartphone has been developed jointly by "Sitronics" (part of AFK "Sistema"), Qualcomm and ZTE.

The model, called MTS 945, can be purchased in Moscow and other Russian cities for the price 10,990 rubles. In the event that the buyer will want to subscribe to the tariff plan of the operator, the price drops to 10,450 rubles.

In addition to the standard GLONASS, the device also supports a system of GPS, a 2 megapixel camera and a touch screen with a diagonal of 3.2 inches. In addition, the owner of the device can expand the internal memory of 130 MB to 16 GB by installing a microSD-card. The device works based on OS Android.
