March will be colder than normal in the north of the Ural and Volga — Weather Center

The air temperature in March 2013 will be slightly below historical averages in the North-West Federal District, in the north of Volga and Ural, the report said meteorologist Russia.

In general, according to meteorologists, almost the whole of Russia in March, the average temperature will be close to historical averages. Slightly below normal by 1 degree Celsius below the average, the average monthly temperature is expected in the North-West Federal District and in the north of the Volga Federal District and in the north of the Urals Federal District. At the same degrees warmer than normal will be on the south and south-east of the Siberian Federal District.

Monthly precipitation in most of the European and Asian territories of the Russian Federation will also be close to the long-term average. More rainfall expected in the south-east of the Republic of Komi and Perm Krai and the Urals Federal District and in the west of the Siberian Federal District. Below normal monthly precipitation will be in Yakutia, north of Khabarovsk Territory and the Amur region.
