Martynov went to Brussels

Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov on January 10 on a visit to Brussels.

Besides Ashton, Martynov allegedly wants to meet with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule. According to the source, Martynov and Fule contacted last week by phone. A spokesman Fule Natasha Butler confirmed that the commissioner "is in regular contact with the Belarusian side," but information about a possible meeting with Martynov comment has not.
