Northern Fleet ships will visit Novorossiysk

Russian Northern Fleet warships in exercises will drop out of the Mediterranean Sea in the Dark sea, where they will visit Novorossiysk naval base. This is with reference to the Russian Defense Ministry informs Interfax.

Landing craft "Alexander Otrakovsky", "Jora Victorious" and "Kondopoga" will be held in the waters of the Black Sea through the Turkish straits of Bosporus and Dardanelles, August 11-12. Sunset at the port of Novorossiysk will be the goal distant ocean campaign group. The strategic objective of the maneuver is the embodiment of mezhflotskogo transition — the 1st part of the battle studying Russian Navy. Novorossiysk on the basis of the ships will join the supplies of water, food supplies and fuel.

Previously, such trips made heavy nuclear missile cruiser "Peter Lofty" — from the North to the Pacific fleet, and missile cruiser "Moscow" — from the Black Sea to the Pacific fleet.
