Scientists have found just two astral phenomenon: the huge space of emptiness and no less than a huge concentration of galaxies, which are extremely large galactic clusters.

Unusual data were obtained through a network of telescopes SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey), located in the northern hemisphere. The project to scan 41% of the visible celestial sphere has already produced the first results: obtained data on 110,000 galaxies far from Earth at a distance of up to 2 billion light-years. SDSS measured the exact distance, size and position of each with 110,000 galaxies.
In addition to the galaxies themselves, SDSS has made a huge and very detailed map 23% of the visible sky. SDSS also found an enormous cosmic voids in which there is nothing: no galaxies, no stars, not even a gas or dust. The largest of such empty regions truly huge — about 3.5 billion light-years across. "He is so great, this region is difficult to really appreciate the mentally or visually," — says John Huchra, an astronomer at the Harvard Center for Astrophysics.
Previous "huge void" was about 1 billion light-years in diameter.
According to scientists, the size of the voids is 3.5 billion light years is so large that it does not fit into any of the existing theories on the evolution of the universe today.
