In Tatarstan, the plant is being built of carbon fiber fiber-Alabuga

June 6th President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Oleg Saveliev visited the special economic zone "Alabuga" and got acquainted with the construction works of the resident companies. Among them venture to produce carbon fiber "Alabuga-fiber."

 

The plant "Alabuga-fiber" is the first point of visit of senior officials Minnikhanov and Oleg Saveliev. Now in the shop being installed equipment, which will be produced carbon fiber. It demonstrated already installed the furnace, where the fiber is processed.

The processing plant carbon fiber "Alabuga-Fiber" is a joint project of HC "Composite" and the State Corporation "Rosatom". Capacity of the first production line will be about 1,500 tons of carbon fiber nominal 54K per year. The project cost more than 3 billion rubles.

Now the production capacity of existing plants for the production of carbon fiber in Russia is only 500 tons of carbon fiber annually. The new company will be able to produce products in more than 3 times, and the quality of it will be comparable with the best world analogues.
