5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of New Zealand

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale occurred on Saturday in Auckland archipelago south of the coast of New Zealand, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter of earthquake was recorded at 232 kilometers north-west of the island of Auckland — the main island of the archipelago of the same name. The earthquake lies at a depth of 34 kilometers.
The earthquake caused no danger of a tsunami, the website of the U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The island belongs to Auckland New Zealand and is uninhabited.
