The strongest cyclone raced over Madagascar

Five people died and more than three thousand hit by the cyclone "Bingiza" swept over Madagascar. As reported by the representative of the National Office of Emergencies and Disasters, cyclone originated over the Mozambique Channel and hit the west coast of the island.

Specialists believe that hurricane-force winds and heavy rain can still go back to the south-western part of Madagascar. On average, during the rainy season, which lasts in the country from October to March, is 30-40 cyclones. Last year, the hurricane "Hubert" claimed the lives of 36 people, and the most affected 85 thousand local people.
