On Wednesday, dozens of people witnessed a rare spectacle in Estonia: in the sea near the island of Abruka storm cloud descended three tornado.
"This is a rare sight in the sense that the majority of Estonians had never seen a tornado, and I, too," — told Meie Maa experienced climatologist Ain Kallis.
"Every year, a tornado watch in Estonia 2-3, so this is not an ordinary case. The more that is seen at once, three tornado, "- he added.
Tornado is atmospheric vortex that occurs in a thunderstorm cloud and spreads down the sleeves in the form of a cloud or a trunk. In diameter, it can range from tens to a few hundred meters.
