In the Yaroslavl region launched the work of the new wastewater treatment plant

1 October in the village of Volga a ceremony launching the new treatment plant that will provide clean tap water 18,000 residents of towns and Volga HPP Rybinsk.

Daily volume production facilities — 9,000 cubic meters of treated water. This is enough to supply all the needs of the village: houses, schools, kindergartens, swimming pools, businesses and organizations. But with the development of the territory of the water treatment plants are able to increase the production capacity doubled — up to 18,000 cubic meters of water per day.

Water after treatment meets all health standards, but as the decades in the water village accumulated rainfall, will take about two weeks to cleanse the pipe and out of the taps in the homes of residents flowed water quality.

Construction of a water treatment plant in the village of Volga began in 2001. The work went very slowly, and in 2010, were suspended and resumed only in 2011, when the city was awarded a new contract. In February 2012, JSC "Strojinzhiniring" completed the construction and installation work, from March 1, began commissioning treatment facilities.
