Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred on Saturday in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter of the earthquake that struck Friday 23.04 local time (10.04 MSK Saturday), was located at 81 km to the west of Petrolia. Hearth quake-lying, according to preliminary data, at a depth of 0.6 kilometers, but most likely this figure will soon be revised.
A few hours earlier in the same area, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2, is celebrated on the USGS website.
Possible damage from aftershocks were reported.
