BSU — to 1474-th place among world universities

Webometrics published another version of the best higher institutions in the world. In the top 500 universities of Belarus is not included, the highest position — 1474-th — at the Belarusian State University, said "Diary."

The first 10 places in the ranking of Webometrics, released in January 2011, take U.S. universities. It is headed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, second and third places — Harvard and Stanford.

From the neighboring countries of Belarus, the highest position in the two Polish universities — the Jagiellonian (373) and the Wroclaw Technology (433), as well as the Moscow State University. Lomonosov Moscow State University (386).

According to the Webometrics in the top 10 of the Belarusian universities are also included Grodno State University (2441), Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics (2994), the Belarusian State Pedagogical University (4000), Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (4503), Belarusian State Medical University ( 5662), Gomel State University (5692), the Academy of Postgraduate Education (5845), the Minsk Institute of Management (6028) and Brest State Technical University (6299).

Only in the 11th place among the Belarusian universities was the Belarusian State Economic University (6458-th position in the world ranking).
