Earthquake in Vanuatu

Earthquake of magnitude 7.0 occurred on Saturday at 22:55:37 GMT on the coast of the island nation of Vanuatu. This was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was located at coordinates 20.6 degrees south latitude and 169.7 degrees east longitude, its center lies at a depth of 135.7 kilometers, the ITAR-TASS news agency.

PORT VILA, September 4. Earthquake of magnitude 7.0 occurred on Saturday at 22:55:37 GMT on the coast of the island nation of Vanuatu.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was located at a distance of 122 km south-east of the city Isangel, at 20.6 degrees south latitude and 169.7 degrees east longitude. Hearth lies at a depth 135 km, according to ITAR-TASS.
