In Vladivostok, learned how to create nanoportrety

In the laboratory, thin-film technology of the Far Eastern Federal University learned how to create nano-portraits.

As the Associate Professor of Computer Systems School of Natural Sciences Palo Alexander Samarda, the idea has arisen by association with Lefty, shoe a flea. "So we decided to try to do creative work at the nanoscale, because many physicists at heart are the real lyrics," — said the scientist.

According to him, nanoportrety created based polymer film thickness of 50 nanometers, precoated on a silicon substrate. "By using an electron beam diameter of 2 nm, we can draws all forms and shapes," — said the scientist.

He provided examples of such agency works: nanoportret Russian president Vladimir Putin,
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the Mona Lisa.

"To cut the hair we can accommodate about 40 nanoportretov president of Russia," — says the scientist.

Creative work of the scientists involved in one of the competitions on Nanotechnology Olympiad at MSU, where they won the Grand Prix and received the award from the hands of the head of RUSNANO Anatoly Chubais.
