Kenshiro. The new generation of robots with muscles!

The exhibition Humanoids 2012 in Osaka, Japan was represented by a humanoid robot whose structure follows the structure of the musculoskeletal system of the person. A robot named Kenshiro was developed by engineers from the University of Tokyo.

The apparatus has a height of 158 cm and weighing 50 kg at the same time. It recalls the 12-year-old. In Kenshiro has almost all the major muscles in humans are available. The robot has 160 muscles: 50 — in the feet, 76 — in the torso, the shoulders 12 and 22 — in the neck. Skeleton Kenshiro also reminds the human skeleton, but the bones in the robot are made of aluminum.
