Vice-Speaker of the House of Commons was arrested for the rape of men

British police on Saturday arrested on suspicion of raping a male deputy speaker of the House of Commons of the British Parliament Nigel Evans

Member of the House of Commons, the Conservative Party 55-year-old Evans is suspected of raping and sexually assaulting one to the other men aged 20 to 30 years between July 2009 and March 2013. The exact age of the alleged victims is not called.

The newspaper said the MP was arrested Saturday at his home in Pendleton county of Lancashire. After his arrest, his home was searched. After questioning at the police station, Evans was released on bail until June 19. The fact of arrest, police notified the Speaker of the House of Commons John Berkou (John Bercow), as well as British Prime Minister David Cameron.

According to the Telegraph, Evans has publicly confessed to homosexuality in 2010
