"Earlier in the case of a large corn crop, for example, in 2008, when it was harvested 4.5 million tons, there is an acute problem — where to store grain. Suffered primarily peasants — had to sell grain for nothing, "- said Alexey Gordeev. "Over the past 2.5 years in the field of grain storage capacity has been increased to 400,000 tons, about the same as we have to build in the next two to three years. Then we can take, store and process any grain harvest, "- said the head of the region.

Currently, Moscow Industrial Bank (Industrial Bank) is considering construction of a deep processing of grain, which will be saved in the entire region, it added value. At present, the region is exported annually about 1.5 million tons of grain.
