An earthquake with magnitude 4.6 occurred near the capital of Bulgaria

Earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred on Saturday in western Bulgaria, not far from the capital — Sofia, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to the Associated Press, no injuries or damage were reported.

The epicenter of the earthquake to 15.52 local time (16.52 MSK), located at a distance of seven kilometers north-east of the town of Pernik and 21 kilometers south-west of Sofia. Hearth tremors occur at depths 6.1 kilometers.

Magnitude 5.8 earthquake occurred in the region on May 22. Then, a few buildings were damaged.
