XIV Volga Agricultural Forum opened its doors 14.09.2012
September 14 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Samara region, with the support of the Government of Samara region in the village. Ust-Kinel opened their job XIV Volga Agricultural Forum. Event of its kind — one of the most significant, taking place in the province. Forum has been a federal and since 2008 is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The opening of the Volga AGROFORUM attended by the Governor of the Samara region, Nikolai Merkushin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Sidorov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Samara region, Viktor Altergot, vice-speaker of the Samara Regional Duma Viktor Sazonov. Among the many participants and guests of the regional AGROFORUM — district heads and heads of departments of agriculture, the heads of the provincial farms and cooperatives, deputies, research and educational institutions, Russian and foreign manufacturers of agricultural machinery, fertilizers, feed, crop protection, investment and insurance companies, representatives of agro-processing enterprises and holdings of the Samara Region and the Republic of Mordovia, the other Russian regions, CIS and non-CIS countries.
In his welcoming remarks at the opening of the Volga XIV agro-industrial forum Samara Region Governor Nikolai Merkushin noted that 10-15 years ago, it was impossible to even imagine such a vast array of food and agricultural products, which was presented today at the Volga AGROFORUM. Yet before the enterprises of the domestic agricultural produce task at times, even ten times more food, not only to ensure food security of the country, but the food needs at least one third of the population of planet Earth. And this requires a radical modernization of machines and tractors and apply the most advanced agricultural technologies developed by Russian scientists and adapted to the local soil and climatic conditions. This will allow our agricultural producers to significantly increase the average yield of cereals and other arable crops in the province.
Open Volga Agroforum helped the family of the provincial farmer, which was the keynote of the meeting for the next two days. Within agrovystavki started working agricultural fair, where everyone could buy affordable full range of agricultural products. Its implementation were not only Samara farmers, but also the provincial processing plants, as well as agricultural holdings and enterprises in other regions.
Traditional area has also become a "Village Street", where all municipal districts of the region presented their achievements. At the exhibition was also organized children's playground with entertaining and informative pavilions and playgrounds for the youngest visitors and "City of Masters" folk arts and crafts. In addition, the decoration of the forum was to conduct competitive show the best livestock in the region. Event of its kind in the Volga region was conducted for the first time. Active support in the organization of agricultural shows our farmers have provided leading experts from the Association of Holstein cattle of the Czech Republic.
Recall that last year in the Volga-2011 AGROFORUM visited about 74 thousand (2010 — 34,000). It was attended by about 500 companies and agricultural companies from 32 regions of Russia, as well as representatives of several companies near and far abroad countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Germany, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, the United States Finland, Slovakia, Poland) . Arrangements were made and signed contracts for the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment in the amount of 350 million rubles (in 2010 — 280 mil.)
