Gasification of the Far East

The level of gas supply natural gas to the Khabarovsk Krai on January 1, 2013 was 17.7%, including in the cities and towns — 18.4% in rural areas — 1.3%. In Russia, the average forecast level of gasification on the same date, 64.4%, 70.1% and 53.1%, respectively.

In Moscow held a working meeting between the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Gazprom" Alexey Miller and Governor — Chairman of the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory Vyacheslav Shport. At the meeting it was noted that the Khabarovsk region — one of the priority areas for investment "Gazprom".

The company is implementing an accelerated pace Eastern gas program in the eastern regions from scratch an infrastructure for the extraction and transportation of gas, generates new customers. Passes through Khabarovsk pitched "Gazprom" first in the East, Russia interregional transmission system (GTS) — "Sakhalin — Khabarovsk — Vladivostok". In the future, the region will be laid GTS "The Power of Siberia" for the transportation of gas Irkutsk and Yakutsk gas production centers to Vladivostok.
"Gazprom" pays close attention to the development of gasification of the Khabarovsk Territory. In 2008-2012, "Gazprom" has sent for this purpose more than 2.6 billion rubles. It was built five inter-settlement gas pipelines with a total length of 42.7 km, will design two branch pipelines and complex LNG in the GDS Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, the General Scheme of gas supply and gasification. In turn, the government of the territory led an active work to prepare consumers for gas.

Alexey Miller and Vyacheslav Shport noted the good prospects for the development of gasification of the region. As part of the approved "Gazprom" and the regional government of the gasification program for 2012-2015 investment "Gazprom" is defined in 4 billion rubles. In particular, this year the company plans to invest 964 million rubles. the design and construction of three gas laterals and eight inter-settlement gas pipelines with a total length of 69 km. Funds will also be used for construction of a liquefied natural gas in the GDS Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, the item receiving and regasification of LNG in the Nicholas metro area.

The meeting discussed the possibility of accelerating the construction of a gas pipeline from the gas distribution in Khabarovsk to the sports complex "Platinum — Arena". This will synchronize the input of the gas pipeline with the delivery of the objects in the new district of Khabarovsk, to be established in the framework of the state program for the resettlement of military camps.

Cooperation Agreement between OAO "Gazprom" and the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory signed in April 2002 and prolonged in November 2009. The Gasification Accord signed in December 2011.

In 2012, "Gazprom" and the government of the Khabarovsk Territory approved a joint program for the transfer of motor vehicles and agricultural vehicles to natural gas.
