Gazprom began pumping gas from offshore Vietnam

Gazprom has started commercial production of gas from fields in blocks 05-2 and 05-3 offshore Vietnam. As noted in the gas concern, every day there will be produced 8.5 million cubic meters. meters of gas and 3.5 million tons of gas condensate.

During the visit, the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller, the Russian company in Vietnam and the Vietnamese state-owned Petrovietnam signed an agreement on the basic principles of the joint venture for the project on the use of natural gas as a motor fuel in the Republic of Vietnam. The document provides, in particular, the organization works to transfer to natural gas transport Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the company agreed to speed up negotiations on the organization of the supply of liquefied natural gas project in Vietnam with "Vladivostok LNG" and sign a framework agreement for the supply of LNG to the end of 2013.

The "Vladivostok LNG" involves the construction of Peninsula State University (Perevoznaya) LNG plant. The resource base for the plant will be gas Sakhalin gas production center, and the center of Irkutsk and Yakutsk. The target markets include countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
