JSC "Gazpromtrubinvest", producing pipes for the oil and gas industry, will invest more than 10 billion rubles in the organization of production in Volgorechensk medium-diameter pipes, said Friday the administration of the region.
The investment project for the construction of a new pipe production near Kostroma will be considered at a meeting of the Board of Investment under the governor of Kostroma region on December 1 of this year.
Construction of the new plant volgorechenska Pipe Plant (VrTZ) for the production of medium-diameter pipes for the oil and gas industry will continue for three years. Commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2014.
"The volume of production at the designed capacity of 350 thousand tons of pipes per year. The project will create an additional 560 jobs"- Said in a statement.
With the introduction of the new plant, the total production of pipes on VrTZ increase three-fold.

JSC "Gazpromtrubinvest" (Volgorechensky Pipe Plant) started production in Russia in 2000. The enterprise was established for production of pipes and meet the demand of pipe production enterprises of the gas industry. The main shareholder of the company — "Gazprom". Pipes made by VrTZ, used by the largest oil and gas companies, including "Tatneft", "Rosneft", "Beloyarneft", "Purneftegas." The plant also supplies its products to the international market. Design capacities allow production to 300,000 tons per year.
