GC RTL started construction of the second phase of the terminal New Harbor (the port of Ust-Luga)

The group of companies "RTL" launched the second phase of the construction of a marine terminal "New Harbor" (the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Oblast). As the press service of the Group, based on the second phase of the terminal will be large-scale dredging, which will carry out the terminal to handle vessels with a draft of up to 9 m  

The contract volume of dredging — 405,700 cubic meters. Deadline — November 2012. All dredging is funded entirely by the state.


 
Dredging in the second stage of the project is CJSC "Investment. Engineering. Construction "(RIS), under a contract with the" Rosmorport ". Subcontractor for the dredging of a company Josef Mobius Bau AG (Germany, the structure of the concern Strabag), for surveying work in the waters — LLC "Marine Geodesy", according to the papers connected with the placement of funds floating navigation support (float) — JSC "Navitel".
 
The group of companies "RTL" November 11, 2011 opened a marine terminal "New Haven" in the port of Ust-Luga. Private investment in this project amounted to 1.5 billion rubles., Another 3 billion private investor — GC "RTL" intends to invest in the development of the project in the period up to 2014. Public investment in the future up to 2014 will amount to 2.5 billion rubles.

Capacity of the first phase of the terminal "New Harbor" — about 250 thousand vehicles per year. GC "RTL" studying the possibility of transhipment terminal as new cars and other types of Ro-Ro cargo and containers. Already in 2012 of the cars taken GC "RTL" in the port of St. Petersburg, passed to the terminal "New Harbor" in Ust-Luga.
