On this, as reported by RIA announcements in Mon September 3, said the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces mission (RVSN) Colonel-General Sergei Karakayev. According to him, the construction of the rocket is already underway.

Previously, the Defense Ministry announced plans to do latest languid liquid-fueled rocket in connection with the deployment of the U.S. missile defense parts (ABM) in Europe.

According Karakaeva, building compact solid-ballistic missiles might not be enough to overcome missile defense potential enemy. For such purposes, the quoted Colonel General Agency, is preferable to use liquid propellant missiles with a launch weight of about 100 tons. Deploy missiles are meant exclusively in silos.

By the time the Ministry of Defence is also true for two times — September 27, 2011 and May 23, 2012 — the latest tests conducted solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile. First test was unsuccessful. During the second run of the layout warhead missile launched from Plesetsk, which arrived in the area in Kamchatka.

About the latest rocket, launched in May, is clear enough. As reported, the model rocket is working on the new fuel, thus reducing the time engines for powered flight of the carrier. This, in turn, increases the chances of a breakthrough anti-missile system of the enemy. An anonymous representative of the Ministry of Defence took the May launch to test the newest head of the intercontinental ballistic missile "yars."
