As AFP reports citing the official Tbilisi, placing the S-300 in Abkhazia is a danger to Georgia and NATO.

Placement of S-300 in Abkhazia was carried out in the framework agreement on development of Russian military bases on the territory of the country. The document was signed in Moscow on 17 February 2010. On one of the Russian bases in Abkhazia already deployed armored personnel carriers and tanks T-62. According to the agreements reached between the governments of RF and Abkhazia, Russian military bases are located on the territory of the country for 49 years.
