Shiveluch threw a column of ash

Kamchatka volcano Shiveluch threw a column of ash to a height of seven feet above sea level. There is no danger to the population. Plume from the eruption lasted for 220 miles.

According to the experts, the particles of volcanic materials and gases released into the atmosphere, can be hazardous to aviation, according to ITAR-TASS.

Shiveluch — the northernmost and one of the most active of active volcanoes of Kamchatka. Over the last fifteen hundred years, there were at least ten of its catastrophic eruption.
