Far Entrepreneurship Week opens today in Vladivostok. This year it is attended by representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from Primorye, Magadan, Yakutia, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Irkutsk, Omsk and Moscow.
As told Itar-Tass learned at the forum organizing committee for the first time venue for Week activities will be the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on the island of Russian. This section will work, "round tables", held a meeting with representatives of the regional business community.
One of the first activities will be a discussion of the Week "Youth entrepreneurship in the Far East: current priorities," which participants will discuss tools to support young entrepreneurs with the experience of regions. In addition, the Week will be the presentation of successful projects of young entrepreneurs and the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "Entrepreneur of Primorye," "You — the entrepreneur."
Another event will be the regional forum of financial services, which is dedicated to the problems of lending to small and medium-sized businesses and to attract investment in the economy of the Far East.
The main event will be the Congress of Entrepreneurs Week Far Eastern Federal District, which will focus on the interaction of business with public authorities in the field. The forum — a meeting of the Commissioner for the Protection of the rights of entrepreneurs under President Boris Titov with entrepreneurs in the region, which will be held on May 16.
According to the director of the Department of Economics Primorsky Territory Administration Nikolai Dubinin, Week of Entrepreneurship will discuss the most pressing business problems faced by entrepreneurs of the Far East.
"Conducting Week activities will enable real dialogue, the business community and the government to find effective solutions and make recommendations for the creation of a favorable environment for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, enhance its role in the economy of Russia", — said the representative of the administration.
