The company "Premium Engineering", part of the Red Mountain Energy (St. Louis, USA), and "Irkutsk Oil Company" signed a contract for the construction of high-tech production for processing of associated petroleum gas (APG) in the Yarakta field in Eastern Siberia.
Built GPP will allow for deep processing of natural and associated gas to produce final products that are suitable for further use, such as SOG, LPG, SGK and valuable raw material for the petrochemical industry — ethane fraction. The plant will be the first in the Russian processing platform that level where the technology solutions developed by U.S. experts of Red Mountain Energy, embody the latest advances and modular solutions in gas processing.
"Premium Engineering" serves as the EPC contractor, being a single contractor, and organizes a full range of work on the project. The company will build a plant "turn-key" and carry out commissioning and then running the facility. At the moment, started the first stage of the project. Tentative date of commissioning — the end of July 2014.
APG processing plant will be built on the territory of Yarakta oil and gas field, which has traditionally mined uglevodorodorodnogo significant amounts of raw materials. In the first half of this year, "Irkutsk Oil Company" produced 968.5 thousand tonnes of crude oil and condensate increased by 2.2 times the volume of the previous year.
