In the first quarter of 2013 the total electricity generation stations of JSC "RusHydro" subsidiaries and affiliates amounted to 31,962 million kWh, which is 15% more than the same period in 2012.

The main factors that contributed to the variation of RusHydro Group in the 1st quarter of 2013 were: increased water storage in reservoirs hydropower plants of the Far East and Central Russia at the beginning of 2013, in connection with those observed at the end of autumn 2012 floods, the water inflow into the reservoir Volga-Kama cascade above long-term averages, the inflow of water into the main reservoir hydropower plant in Siberia slightly above or at the level of the norm; Commissioning Boguchan plant at the end of 2012.

RusHydro's total output stations of the Volga-Kama cascade and Zagorskaya the PSP in the first quarter of 2013 amounted to 10,057 million kWh, which is 32% higher than in 2012.
The inflow of water in the Sayano-Shushenskaya dam in the 1st quarter of 2013 was 10% above long-term averages. The inflow of water in the Sayano-Shushenskaya dam is expected in April at a rate of 1.4-2.3 km3 1.53 km3 in the 2nd quarter of 19-24 km3 at a rate of 20 km3.

South and North Caucasus

Electricity generation at the Sevan-Hrazdan cascade hydropower stations in Armenia in the 1st quarter of 2013 increased by 54% to $ 84 million kWh. The development of plants is caused by a cascade of natural inflow in the Hrazdan River, and water releases from Lake Sevan.
