"Samarovsky Chugas" — a park of over 740 hectares, located within the borders of the Khanty-Mansiysk. The park is occupied cedar, pine and birch forests. The average age of trees — about 110 years. In the area of the park, there are 31 species of mammals. It preserved shrew, which is the smallest representative of boreal mammals and Asian chipmunk, columns and American mink. On Grand Chuhtinsky situated in the territory of the Samara Chugas permanently inhabited badger, fox, brown bear.
"In fact, this park works successfully pleases residents and visitors of the Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk region. Nevertheless, the official status will not only protect the natural resources of these areas, but also give them the impetus to development," — said the head of the region Natalia Komarova at a meeting of county government.
Specifies that, in connection with the new status of "Samarovsky Chugas" will be completely non-natural park land acquisition under any construction, clear-cutting and additional restrictions on pollution.
As reported by the governor, the access to the park will be free for all guests. Additional development is planned ecological routes and environmental education programs.
"It is expected that the annual flow of tourists in the Park will be at least 10,000 people. Simultaneously establishing a special regime of protection, according to estimates, will avoid annual environmental damage to the environment in the amount of about 5 billion rubles," — said at a government meeting Komarova Yugra .
Notes that "Samarovsky Chugas" nature park will be the fourth in the autonomous region. The region also operate parks: Siberian Uvaly, Kondinsky lake Numto.
