Storm deenergized 50 residential homes and three hospitals in Moscow

In Moscow, the lightning that hit the high-voltage substation temporarily left without light 50 homes and three hospitals. PE occurred in the street Borisov ponds. Electricity supply was quickly restored.
According to ITAR-TASS press service chief metropolitan MOE Yevgeny Bobylev, at 17:49 lightning hit a high-voltage substation. For 20 minutes without electricity were 50 houses and three hospitals. At 18:10 power was fully restored.
In addition, as described in the police, the wind and the storm knocked down trees in parts of the region. Only in the north and north-east of Moscow fell at least 15 trees. But no one was hurt, but damaged at least 10 vehicles.
