The High Command of the Navy Russia has returned to St. Petersburg

October 31 at the Admiralty building to commemorate the relocation of the Supreme Command of the Navy of Russia in St. Petersburg St. Andrew's flag was raised.

"Today, our city and our country great day. Over the Neva River St. Andrew's flag flies proudly, and St. Petersburg reclaimed the title of the naval capital of Russia ", — said Georgi Poltavchenko. The governor stressed that the move to St. Petersburg Command of the Navy will accelerate the passage of the different procedures associated with the placement of the state defense order for urban enterprises.

According to the Navy Commander Viktor Chirkov, one of the main advantages of moving Navy Department — located in close proximity to St. Petersburg Design Bureau, research institutes, universities and military enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
