Earthquake in Myanmar — 5.9

Earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred on Monday at 7.16 Moscow time in the north-west Myanmar near the border with India. Its epicenter was 133 km from the administrative center of the Indian state of Manipur — Imphal. This was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Hearth element lies at a depth 121 km. Information on casualties or damage were reported. After two major earthquakes of magnitude 6.8, occurred on March 24 of this year in Myanmar, killing at different data up to 150 people, was destroyed about 400 houses, 14 monasteries and nine government buildings, according to ITAR-TASS.
