The European Union, according to the Slovak Foreign Minister Mikulas Dzurinda, we can not say with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on any theme as long as in Belarusian prisons will remain members of the opposition who have done nothing wrong, and only showed their views.

As the Dzurinda at a press conference after meeting with representatives of the Belarusian opposition, the EU should act in this matter with a unified position. "We were a Calvary. Dzurinda expressed his deep respect for the representatives of the Belarusian opposition, and solidarity with the prisoners and their families. "I was interested in how the opposition sees the behavior of Slovakia and the EU, and how we were to behave on to the Belarusian people and could not wait for a better future", — he added.

Former Speaker Stanislav Shushkevich stressed that the Slovaks understand the Belarusian opposition. According to the former presidential candidate in the 2006 elections Milinkevich, important for the Belarusian opposition solidarity of European countries.
