The activities of USAID in Russia banned

  The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) down its activities in Russia. This is stated in the statement of the U.S. State Department, released on Tuesday.

The decision to ban the activities of the organization was taken by the Russian authorities. According to some reports, note that the activities of the agency should be terminated on October 1, U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul has received from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the APEC summit, which was held in Vladivostok, from 2 to 9 September.
