5.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in northern India

NEW DELHI, March 4. Earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred on Monday in northern India, said the Indian Meteorological Department.

According to RIA Novosti, tremors were felt in the capital New Delhi and surrounding areas. According to the Indian TV channels, tremors were felt in several cities in the north.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near the border of India and Nepal.

No casualties or destruction have been reported yet.
