Colombian authorities announced the evacuation of the population due to the volcanic eruption

The eruption of the volcano Nevado del Ruiz (Nevado del Ruiz), waking up in Colombia, forced local authorities to declare the highest "red" alert level and begin the evacuation of people from the surrounding areas, said on Sunday, Reuters.

Previously, because of the activity Nevado del Ruiz had been closed four airports in neighboring cities. Without air travel remains a city Manizales, Pereira, Armenia and Cartago. In these villages the people were given thousands of masks to prevent the ash into the airways.
