MOSCOW, Aug. 27 — RIA Novosti.Earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred on Saturday in the north-east of Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountains, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.
Quake was recorded at 02.40 (02.10 MSK). Its epicenter was located 74 kilometers south of the city of Faizabad.
The earthquake lies at a depth of 199.1 kilometers.
Information on casualties or damage were reported.
