Izhora plants have completed the fabrication of the reactor for the Rostov nuclear power plant

Izhora plants completed construction and begun shipment of the reactor vessel VVER-1000 for the third unit of Rostov NPP.

The reactor vessel is transported from refineries to Izhorskie cargo berth on the River Neva in the village of Ust-Slav, where by water is sent to the customer.

Rostov NPP is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom." The nuclear plant operates two power units with VVER-1000 with an installed capacity of 1,000 MW. Power unit number 1 was put into operation in 2001, unit number 2 — in December 2010. The construction of reactors number number 3 and 4.
