Magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the north-west China

BEIJING, June 26 — RIA Novosti, Oleg Ostroukhov. Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred in 15.48 local time (11.48 MSK) on Sunday in the county Nantsyan Yushu Tibet Autonomous Region, Qinghai Province in northwest China, Xinhua news agency reports with reference to the Chinese seysmosluzhbu.

The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers at coordinates 32.4 degrees north latitude and 95.9 degrees east longitude.

No casualties or damage from the earthquake were reported.

Yushu, a majority of whom are Tibetans, has been hit by an earthquake in April 2010, which killed about 2.7 thousand people.
