Extreme cold weather hit the Czech Republic — the night before one of the weather stations in Šumava recorded temperature of minus 38.1 degrees Celsius, according to the Czech news agency CTK Friday with reference to the press-secretary of the Czech Hydrometeorological Petr Dvorak.
