Heavy downpours hit Central Europe

In the capital of Slovakia — Bratislava — flooded the first floors of houses in some areas the water level reaches half. Closed some schools and shops. Urban services pumping water and clear the way.
A similar picture in Germany, in Bremen, where the streets have turned into rivers. Road traffic is paralyzed. During the day, rescue workers took more than three hundred calls, mostly from water trapped in captivity drivers.

In neighboring Austria showers and thunderstorms caused damage to farms. Suffered the most southern area of the country. Losses estimated at nearly one million euros.
