In Yakutia, the three oil companies to pay a fine

Three oil companies to pay a penalty for being burned in oil production in Yakutia associated gas flares, said on Thursday, RIA Novosti the republican prosecutor's office.

According to the source, environmental prosecutor's office and CPS in May checked companies extracting oil in Yakutia. It turned out that "Surgutneftegaz", JSC "Irelyakhneft", LLC "Taas-Yuryakh Oil and Gas" irrational use associated gas.

"About 95% of associated gas is not used and is burned in flares, which is a violation of the law on mineral resources", — said the representative of the prosecutor's office.

He said that in case of legal entities instituted administrative proceedings under Part 2 of Article 7.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences (violation of subsoil conditions).

"Each of the offenders pay a fine of 300 thousand rubles," — said the representative of the prosecutor's office.
