Supplies of domestic agricultural products to the Iraqi market will grow by 30-40%. This is made possible by the lifting of the embargo for Ukrainian farmers to direct deliveries to Iraq.
This was during the official meeting agreed to the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk and Trade Minister Khairallah Hassan Babeker Iraq.
From now on, Ukrainian farmers will not use the services of third countries for the supply of products to Iraq. Consequently, working with Iraqi importers owner will significantly reduce the costs of exporting agricultural products to Iraq.
According to the adviser to the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Bani Abdul Nasser, due to lifting the embargo, exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to Iraq could grow by 30-40%.
In addition, during the meeting of ministers discussed the prospects of increasing the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products to Iraq, in particular grain and grain processing, vegetable oil, as well as meat, eggs and dairy products.
