The number of victims unknown fever in Angola has risen to 93




Unknown hemorrhagic fever outbreak in northern Angola has already claimed the lives of 93 people, according to Agence France Presse. In the province of Uige hospital (Uige) is 101 people.

The country's authorities are trying to organize early detection of new cases. Blood samples were sent to Senegal showed that the infection — not yellow fever, dengue fever is not, not West Nile fever, Crimean-Congo is not a fever. Angolan doctors appealed to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC — Centers for Dieaseases Control and Prevention), to establish — whether the disease is deadly Ebola.

The province has a team of WHO experts. Uige Province (Uige) located 250 kilometers north of the capital — Luanda and has a long border with the Congo.
