The tests cruise missile BrahMos in India was successful

Test launch was carried out with frigate "Tag", built in Russia by order of the Indian Navy. As representatives Drdo, tests were successful. "A cruise missile hit a given target at a distance of 290 kilometers,", — said the Indian military.

The first test launch of the missile "BrahMos" was produced in 2001 with the coastal setting.

 In 2011, the Indian Defense Ministry issued an order to the missile "BrahMos" worth about $ 4 billion, which represents about 200 missiles.
