Cardboard Art. A more precise definition of what makes British sculptor and artist Chris Gilmour (Chris Gilmour) to be found. It really creates his works out of cardboard, with those life-size.
Gilmore works amazingly believable. Whether it's a guitar or a three-wheeled motorcycle — all parameters are met in full, including the Fiat 500, the objects of religious architecture and even a grand piano, attached to the ceiling.
Looking at the pictures, it is difficult to believe that all these sculptures are made only of cardboard and glue, and of tools and hand of the master. There is no wood or metal frame in their construction.
Besides the beauty Chris Gilmour sees the ecological aspect in his work, instead of using marble and bronze, the reserves of which are not renewed, but uses secondary materials, giving them a new life.
