Karelia is moving towards e-governance

In Karelia, a working group, which will ensure the transition to interdepartmental cooperation in the provision of public and municipal services. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the Government of the Republic of Karelia Andrei Nelidov.

The head of the working group was appointed Deputy Head of Karelia and Minister of Economic Development of the Republic Valentin Luntsevich, deputy head of the working group — Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic on the development of information and communication technologies Dmitry Burakou.
The working group consisted of representatives of the ministries and departments of Karelia, the territorial offices of the federal government, local self-government.

Recall that in 2010, the Federal Law № 210-FZ "On the organization of public and municipal services." He set all levels of government Russia task to improve the quality and accessibility of public and municipal services, translating them into electronic form, as well as the creation of e-government infrastructure.

In particular, pursuant to the provisions of the Act, which will come into effect from July 1 next year, may not demand from citizens and organizations the information or documents that are already available to the public authorities of executive power and local self-government.
