Kirov Plant The Hammer has signed a contract for the supply of weapons to Sweden


The representative of the management of the plant called the deal "the first swallow."

Vyatsko-Polyansky Machine Works "The Hammer" (manufacturer of small arms and hunting weapons, is part of the State Corporation "Rostekhnadzor") entered into a contract with Bear Arms for the supply of products to Sweden, according to the plant. 


"Of" The Hammer "was visited by representatives of the Swedish company Bear Arms. Meeting resulted in the signing of the contract. During the negotiations was reached mutual understanding of the parties and decided to establish further cooperation on the supply of the plant to Sweden," — said in a statement.

Initially, the company expressed interest in hunting rifles, created on the basis of military weapons, but guests interested in visiting the factory and new development — "Toucan", "Griffin" and others.

"I believe that our cooperation will become a permanent and successful, and the contract — the first swallow" — are reported according to Assistant Director of Sales Michael Matasova.

It was reported earlier that the arbitration court of the Kirov region in April brought in outside management at the "Hammer" for a period of 18 months. Meanwhile, the defense plant plans to reach break-even in 2014 thanks implemented anti-crisis program.
